A Little History …
You may hear a lot of buzz about peels these days as they have become one of the most popular esthetic treatments at the moment. But, did you know that peels have actually been around for a very long time? In fact, women of ancient Egypt used a variety of methods to shed the excess dead skin cells off their skin to make it more beautiful. They used powdered alabaster and salt, lime, mustard, sulfur, extracts of animal oils, sour milk, fruit juices, etc., to make skin smoother, cleaner and whiter. And so, while we were not the original creators of this treatment, we did and continue to improve the technique.

What is a chemical peel?

Peels are suitable for all skin types and cause very few side effects, with the exception of a slight transient redness and peeling that lasts only a few days depending on the concentration of the peel treatment.
